How do I rollover or start a new school year?

Christ In Us administrators can export and remove existing data to start fresh for the current school year. Only your Christ in Us administrators can complete this task.

Log in to Christ In Us with your Christ in Us administrator account. 

Once logged in, click on the Menu button on the screen's top-left corner.

Go to Settings and click Manage Settings.

Click the Start New School Year button to begin exporting and then clearing last year's data from Christ in Us. 
On the next page, you will find information about exporting and removing data from Christ in Us.

Click the Begin Setup button.
Step 1 allows you to choose what information you would like to export and keep outside of Christ in Us.

Christ in Us will send one email with download links to the Comma Separated Value (CSV) files for each item selected. You can use the CSV file with Excel or similar software.

The links expire after 14 days.

Please allow 5 to 10 minutes for the email and check your junk or spam folder if you do not see the email.
Step 2 allows you to select the items you want to remove from Christ in Us.

You can choose if you want to remove instructor and student accounts.  

Most parish customers keep the instructor and student accounts but clear the classes and messages for the instructors and students. If you choose to keep the student accounts, you will need to update their grade level.
    
Schools will typically remove the student account information and reload with a roster from their student information system for the current school year.

Once you remove your data from the system, you may begin setting up for the upcoming school year.
