Can I turn off the messaging system?

Administrators can turn off the Christ In Us messaging system if they do not wish to use it at your school or parish.

1. Login with your Christ in Us administrator account to turn off the messaging system.

2. Click the Menu icon to access the main menu.

3. Go to Settings and select Manage Settings.
4. Select No for Allow instructors and students to use the messaging system? to turn off the messaging system.

5. Click the Save button.

The next time instructors or students log in to Christ In Us, the Messages option will not be visible under the Messages section.    


Steps to Turn on the Message System

To enable the message system, follow the above steps, but select Yes, in step 4, for Allow instructors and students to use the messaging system? Once you change the setting, it will become available the next time you log in to Christ In Us.

Once turned on, the screen should look as below.
