What are the system requirements for Christ In Us and digital products?

Computer Requirements

You can use a computer or tablet to access and use Christ In Us. Our programs contain audio and video, so computers need other capabilities to take advantage of these features.

Computer Requirements

• Windows, Mac OS, or Chrome OS (Chromebooks)
• An up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
• 128 MB of installed RAM (at the minimum)
• Resolution of 1024X768 with 32-bit color depth

Optional Hardware Requirements

• Soundcard, Audio Port, Headphones, or Speakers

We do not specify hardware requirements for storage for hard drives or flash memory as Christ In Us delivers products online and only requires storage for browser caching. 

Supported Tablets

Christ In Us works with tablet devices, including iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air, and Android-based tablets.  

Supported Web Browsers

Christ In Us has been certified to work with the web browsers listed below. We recommended keeping your browser up-to-date. In the list below, you can find out how to check for updates for your preferred browser.

• Chrome
  1. In the top right, click the menu icon.
  2. Click Help > About Google Chrome. 
  3. The browser will check for an update automatically. You may need to restart your browser.
• Firefox
  1. Accessing About Firefox:
     
     1. Mac: On the menu bar, click the Firefox menu item and select About Firefox.
     2. Windows: In the top right, click the menu icon. Select Help and click about Firefox.
  2. The About Mozilla Firefox Firefox window opens. Firefox will check for updates and download them automatically.
  3. When the download is complete, click Restart to update Firefox.
• Microsoft Edge
  1. In the top right, click the menu icon. 
  2. Click Help > About Microsoft Edge.
  3. The browser will check for an update automatically. You may need to restart your browser.

• Safari
  1. Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu , then click Software Update to check for updates.
  2. If any updates are available, click the Update Now button to install them. You may need to enter your administrator password.

Please contact your organization’s technology administrator to ensure these settings are in place. If you provide the above information, they will know what to do to get your school or parish configured to use Christ In Us.

The actual bandwidth requirements will vary depending on desired usage model, the number of users and the products used.
